ROCKAOKE
Evening starts at 7pm
Budding singers are set for a taste of the spot light when Rockaoke comes to town next month, Friday 19th February.
The event gives would be singers a chance to get up on stage and belt out the high notes with a live band backing them up.
Rockaoke, has become more and more popular in the UK and the band who are coming to Doncaster have been on tour with the BBC Radio One DJ Chris Moyles and his team when they visit towns and cities up and down the country putting on special karaoke nights for listeners. Doncaster’s event will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium where budding Beyonce’s and Cool Kayne wannabe’s can get up and sing.
On the night there is a drummer, guitarist, bass and a female singer. The singer gets the party started and then it’s over to the audience who have a selection of over 200 songs to choose from and they are invited to get up and sing with the band.
Doors are opening at around 7 pm and the Rockaoke starts at around 8 pm (2 sets of a total of 2 hours) – the event will take place in the Restaurant.
