DONCASTER LEGEND TO SHARE THE STAGE WITH BRYAN ADAMS
FANS URGED TO SNAP-UP REMAINING TICKETS AND VIP PACKAGES BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

Doncaster music legend, John Parr has been announced as Bryan Adams’ special guest for his concert at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster, on the 20th of July 2007.

Making a welcome live return, John Parr will open the stadium show in his hometown. John had one of the biggest hits of the 80’s with his iconic track ‘St Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)’ which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA and was top of the charts around the world with hits including 'Naughty, Naughty', 'Restless Heart' and 'Rock & Roll Mercenaries'.

Commenting on the announcement, Jeremy Milnes, Commercial Director, Keepmoat Stadium said:
“It’s brilliant news that John has agreed to open the show for Bryan on the 20th July. He’s played shows all over the world including the Sydney Opera House and Madison Square Garden but I know that this massive hometown show will be right up with the best.

“I’d strongly advise fans to move quickly to secure the last remaining tickets for not only this show but also the concert on the 19th of July featuring McFly, Ronan Keating and Natasha Hamilton. Our VIP packages are also proving very popular, so if fans want an unrivalled concert experience and the very best views from their own balcony or the restaurant then I’d encourage them to snap-up their tickets.

“Bryan and John have performed together to over 80,000 fans before in Canada and I’m sure that the people of Doncaster and right across South Yorkshire will be in for a very special night at the Keepmoat.”

John Parr has also performed the music to 9 Major Motion Pictures titles including 3 Men & A Baby, The Running Man, Near Dark and of course St Elmo's Fire.

He has had tracks covered by International artists including Tom Jones, Meatloaf, Roger Daltry and The Monkees. In addition, John has also toured internationally alongside the likes of Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, Toto, and Heart. He has also performed duets with Celine Dion and his good friend Meatloaf.

Tickets to see Bryan Adams are available at £30 (North Stand), £35 (East and West Stand) and £35 (Standing). Access to the ‘platinum circle’ (standing), right in front of the stage is £45.
